Isnt there some project with some DLL files taken from Vista or something that tries to enable DX10 in XP? I dont think it works very well though

Still not possible, it has more than just DLLs to deal with.

I thought Microsoft made a comment they messed up by not developing DX10 for XP as it was possible?

yes they did make a comment about that and yes there are some places that "have DX-10 on XP" but from I've heard it corrupts the o/s.

Yeah, I know someone that f*d up his windows install by trying it. Had to reformat to fix it...
Its better to stay with DX9 on XP, or just get Vista if you really absolutely need to have DX10.
