Anyone Running 4 x 1GB RAM on Black Ops

Im , Thinking of ordering 2 kits of -Cellshock 2GB PC3-12800C7 Black Edition 1600C7 .
Has anyone had any bad results from running 4 x 1 GB

Reading other posts about other boards with X48 chipset, it seems that the X48 can run 4 dimms pretty well. However, running 4 dimms does tax the mem controller and it limit overclocks. Post back how you make out.

Just bought 2 gb kit of blue Cellshock, Running 8 x 455 FSB, RAM @ 1822mhz.
Seems pretty good so far so unless i win the lottery very soon i will just stick to 2 gb. I have found someone Running 4gb of the Cellshock Blue around the 1700 mhz with a Quad cpu so i know now it can be done

Decided to put my 2GB OCZ Platinum 1333 kit in along side my Cellshock just to see how 4GB runs & I have been pleasantly surprised.
I managed to get all four stable at VDIMM 1.97 1500 mhz with 8,8,8,23, pl 7, 1T. but the whole overclock was hot .
But after much tweaking & dialling in I have settled for -
1362 mhz, 1-3.2 divider, vdimm 1.77, 7,7,7,20, PL 6, 2T.
CPU is 11 x 340 FSB = 3745GHZ @ 1.39v
CPU VTT = 1.200v
CPU PLL = 1.508v
NB - 1.37
All GTL's @ default and man this is running cool all fans on low = silent running:up:, although the memory is quite low mhz the system feels good programs are loading quick & gaming feels smoother.
So im saving hard for another Cellshock Blue kit & im hoping for 4gb x 1800, I already know this QX6850 is good for 450 FSB:D
