Let me introduce you to the Mother of all Fans...Delta 120mm x 76mm (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/de12gf.html) :ROTF:  :ROTF:

RRR, you lose. The link posted by Stealth has more CFM and more, much more pressure.

You could probably use that fan on a TRUE and have as good of performance as any water cooling system. Well, the TRUE may tip to its side once you turn it on though, you'd have to brace that bad boy down.

I have two of those waiting for something insane...

I already used one of them to push air through two PA160s and it worked great.

I am simply astounded that Delta got that must static pressure from a 38mm deep fan. I wonder how it runs at 5V?

I love it, I think a dozen or so mounted on my front door would be great for getting rid of those Jehova's Witnesses that show up way to early on a Saturday morning. Quick flick of the switch and as the lights dim around the house the annoying solicators are blown across the lawn to the street. Not quite the hand of god but at least the fan of the gods :p:

48Watt power consumption. Put 8 of those on a 480GTX and you might need a separate PSU just to run the fans. Imagine the heat dissipation though...wow.

I'd like to get one just for fun, break out the ear plugs!..:)

Ya... I clicked it again earlier when i was linking to a buddy on msn... and it doesn't work anymore. Like it worked when that post was made... cos I remember checking it a few times.... but its been broke for the past few hours.:confused:

Anyway it was like 11,000 rpm, 335cfm, ~4.5 peak amperage, some insane pressure. Ya. And the blades were short and stubby. No curve to leading edges or anything. :)

New additions to the 4100N series (4100NH5-4100NH8) add higher speed and higher CFM options to the existing ebm-papst 4.69 in. (119 mm) tubeaxial fan lines. Each “H” represents the different available speed (RPM) of the fan and therefore higher airflow. For example, at free air (0 static pressure), the 4114NH5 provides 230 CFM at 7500 RPM, while a 4114NH8 provides 334 CFM at 11,000 RPM.

These are 119 x 119 x 38 mm fans.... YIKES

I suppose Papst is more known in the German parts of the world, PCGH (Yes, the PCGH that did the testing on microstuttering) did some testing and found them to be superior to Deltas. Those idiots then proceeded to saying that they're not recommended for use on heatsinks, but due to their air moving abilities, they'd make good case fans.

Please, somebody stick it to their case. I want to see pictures of a case flying through a wall from the bedroom to the kitchen.

I read that article, too!!
Was very funny to read...but good luck they found out the "slightly" increased airflow doesn't lower the temps at all - otherwise the "silent"-aera would be over and everyone would run out and make their cases "hover"..:d

Dude RealRedRaider wth were your temps with that thing?

Also what happens if you take any of the less than totally insane but still high CFM fans (like the 220CFM Delta TFB1212GHE 120x38mm) that use 12v and put them at 7 or 5v? I'm sure they'd get a huge drop in performance of course but would it still be worth it vs. a standard 12v 120mm fan to get similar airflow but with less noise? Thanks.
