FAST CHIP SLECT memory on MARS

what does it really do or turn on ? does it have to do with EPP profiles ???

on the memory page in bios
thiers a fast chip slect ... auto/enable /disable

also memory channell I0 DLL adj setting .. what will this do/ help ???
and memory channell I1 DLL adj setting ...what will this do/help ?? for overclocking or stability ???

I tested it once with fast chip [Enabled] and once [Disabled]. All the other memory settings were on [Auto].
There is no difference in the memory timings/subtimings (MemSet; Everest). I dont know what its turn on either. :confused:

eye am digging on the Dominators 8888 just got the other day thier great cas 4 very tight timeing ! gives me great bandwith and just plain ole speed comp's very snappy with em ...but thier not stable so far anywhere :rolleyes:
thier about as stable as my last wife :rofl: just as fast too :ROTF:

heck my old Firestix;s were just pc6400 cas 5 but thay do 1200 eazy stable !

best so far 526 limited by memory thats why eye got the dominators-8888 thier suposta do at least 1111mh that would put me at 555 fsb if eye can get them to work like thay should

I know that's not the place for talking about max FSB on Mars but when grungero started, What's the highest FSB achieved at Mars?
I can do 560MHz at air and will do LN2 soon but I want to know what's the highest FSB achieved to know what I can expect from my mobo.

managedto get 528 lastnight but my ram is still holding me back ;(

so far over 1.7 volts nb doesnt seem to help out much unless it's watered

Nothing special. I'll re-bench when I get better memory and post whole BIOS settings but I said, nothing special but still on air.

cool ! what multi & what cpu speed was that ?

eye have used all thoes settings except 1.425vtt ....1.275 the most used so far
my 8400 doesnt post past 1.2volt vtt unless overclok of 4.5 and up to 1.275 for 4.7 gonna have to try that maybe it will help:D

I can do 500MHz FSB with vNB=1.28 , vCore=1.18V , vVTT=1.2V and vPLL=1.5V. That's for 24/7 use :D

Even i can pull around 570FSB with E8600 on air with 7 multi, btw I have GSkill D9 which are great and can do around 1300Mhz CAS5 @ 2.3V, will be going for DICE this weekend hoping it gives good result with 10 multi otherwise I guess its Biostar time for me.......
