I'm assuming that the GTX280 Back block is designed to be used with the front mounted block?

How are both blocks mounted at once screw wise, and what is the recommended way of hooking both up in terms of tubing?

Cheers

you should also probably mention that with a back water block, some boards with too close pci-e & ddr slots won't fit...

Thanks for the info guys.

I wonder if the back plate will fit in an EVGA 780i mobo??

correct. the simple back plate would be adequate for those chips.

gtx260/280 back water block, just for added coolness and blingness... hehe...

I know it isn't necessary, but some bling can't hurt :P

Am i also right in assuming that these blocks/backing plates should fit the new 216 shader versions of the GTX 260?

you should ask the manufacturer... also make sure you have good contacts with everything... if you need some thermal paddin for good contact, use it and don't fry your card...

I have it, overkill...yes, useless...no. I OC the crap out of my card and have no worries about anything getting to hot. At 780/1620/2600 I load at 40c, and is nice to know that nothing is hot. I am also surprised how much flow I still have. I am impressed with how it works, and connects to the main block.

BTW I just used Ceramique on the RAM chips and hard mounted. No shorts, worked perfect.

And yes, the blocks will fit the new 216 cards. They are the same PCB minus some laser cutting ;)
