Hi!
I am finally building a REAL WC system not my current Gigabyte 3D Mercury.
I would love to get some ideas on how to do it and what parts to use.
I am a water cooling noob so I dont even know what you guys install first.
I saw a rig for the CM810 using two radiators and that looks like a good idea to me:
http://www.radiical.com.au/projects/RadUltraandCMStacker2.asp
Parts recommendations, guides, any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am going to have in my system:

E8600 or E8400 E0 stepping (shooting for 4.5)

Evga 790 or 780i mobo

Evga GTX 280 SSC (a small chance of SLI in the future thus the mobo)

4GB good perfoming ram not yet determined.

X-FI card

Evga 8800GT KO used as Physx card

HDDs....enough for all my games but if I got with TB ones then I shouldnt need more than two.

DVD Burner

Thats pretty much it.

I've got a different stacker (Mine has PSU on the bottom, But 2x 120's on the back) but it may help you with ideas. See my Sig links.

I'd cut up the top for the rad and then have the pump at bottom front in the empty 5,25" slots.

Another possibility would be to put a 120x2 in the 5,25" slots with brackets like these (http://www.aqua-pcs.co.uk/lian-li-radiator-brackets-543-p.asp) and another rad at the exhaust fans at the back, or you could also go external with some spacers like these (http://www.alphacool.com/shop/Radiators-heat-exchangers/Spacers-for-NexXxoS-Pro-Xtreme-Radiators--3719.html).

as for the parts, I'd go with a EK Supreme, Laing D5 (also known as swiftech mcp 655), ek blocks for the mainboard, a non ek fullcover block (go for dd or so) and bitspower compression fittings throughout.

This worked for me (click on image for larger pic)

Initial set-up with one rad

Can add another like this (or put both in the box?) The box loop is going to vid card(s) only. Have the new Koolance quick disconnects coming (1/2"barbs on male and 1.4G on female to screw directly into vid block-not compression). The case is bolted by four bolts to box. Electricals can easily be disconnected from case to work on each separately??

You can move PS too with extension for 4/6 pin mobo connector into the outside stand/box too. Just another idea.

This (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=102550) should be the starting place for new stacker owners. There's some much information and ideas you could use it's just overwhelming.

yeah my best guess is to cut up the top and put an 3 X 120mm rad there and a baystyle or swiftech micro ress (what you like best) and a pump all the way in the bottom (in a bay or just outside)
and of you are gonna also wc your graphics cards you are even gonna need another rad whit that....

The whole cutting is what drives me away a bit...no tools or skillz. Perhaps I should go with the HAF 932 that seems friendlier for water cooling....it even has a fill port.

I can understand that as it may be a little intimidating the first time out. My first cut scared the h out of me, but it really goes smooth once you start. Its like doing anything for the first time. But you do have to know tool safety and you can rent a jig saw etc. But I am with you on taking the steps slow so the HAF 932 may be a good starting point.

I just recently built a water cooling setup with the HAF-932 and love the case. I currently have a triple radiator up top without any addition modifications and also all water cooling components are internal without any space issues. Also able management is awesome with this case.

I did try modding an antec 900 case in the beginning but it was just too small. But it really isn't hard to use a dremel to cut the holes and what not just take some practice and you will have no issues.

Thanks guys for understanding. I am afraid it would be too many FIRSTS to get it right...first cutting modding plus first real WC.
I rather use the HAF 932 and just concentrate in my first WC and then work on modding for my next build or even use an old case to practice later on.
Any chance you have a worklog for the HAF932 or at least some pics?
Thanks
