There are no guarantees of course but I have seen many sets of these well over 1200 at CAS5, 2.4v. The only way to know is to install and test.

What have you tried in the bios?

ok yellowbeard have got them to work at cas 4 but not totaly stable.. memtest flakes out around 133% (less than 20 min. )

doing my homework eye know these dominators are tuned to nivida chipsets but should work allmost as well with 975&965 intel chipsets
what do eye need to get them to work for my MARS P35 chipset ?

thats all eye have to work with in my bios
could you please point me to what eye need to change to get these great sticks to work at cas 4 with intel P35 chipset

have tried all combos of voltages for nb & sb/pll for 4.0 cpu speed the longest run in memtest has been 1.46~1.50nb..and 1.388~1.425sb/pll

anything else ya need will give ya no problum
really want these to work thier great sticks
just even trying to use the jedec #0 = 5-5-5-18 isnt even stable ( thats with spd set in bios insted of manual)

Try testing them 1 at a time with Memtest.

eye have and thay both come up good tested each at 786 for hours with no errors each & tested then both togather at 786 with 2 instance's of memtest at once and thay passed also...

is thier a different set of EPP profile for intel chipset's ?
at the moment eye have my Firestick's back in thay will do 1200 with 2.1 volts cas 5 tho and thier only pc6400

but running the Corsairs best eye got was 1069 cas 4 at 2.4 volts verry snappy ! love cas 4 :) but the reason eye got them was to clock my X9 E8400 to 5.0 it will go to 4.7 eazly just needed more ram head room & thought these Dominators would give me that but cant even get em to 1111 let alone 1200 and past
even tried cas 5 on them jedec specs wont get em thier

What CPU OC are you getting using the Firestix?

Have you tried dropping the CPU multi with the Corsairs and seeing if your MCH is up to the task?

on firestix's up to 4.7+ but can use different dividers at lower speeds

with the dominators only at 4.0 and down can eye use a divider( yes the board will take it ) that keeps them at or under 1069 ubove 4.0 nothing will do except 1-1
4.6 + will put them over 1069 (at 1-1) with cas 4 thay will do cas 3 under 840 :) but thats not what eye am after just want at least 1111mh see eye dont think my bios is seeing the epp profile correctly and thiers a setting or two holding me up really need a complete list of the epp spd

dont you have a EPP spd profile other than what memset shows me to give me a baseline to start from ??? with that mathamaticly it can be figured out somewhat

could you give me a spec sheet link ?? allready been to your home site thiers nothing thier except the normal stuff

EPP only works with Nvidia chipsets and Intel's XMP is only for DDR3. You can check the sub timings with Memset if you want. Also, I'd set that Fast Chip Select to Disabled until you figure out what it does.

Have you verified your Vdimm with a meter?

ya ok figgired all that yes fast chip slect is disabled + have read what it does (kinda leaves no tracks behind fast chip slect)

yes have shecked with dmm ... reads / applys voltages correctly

playing around now with 1-1 at cas3 with cpu at 4.002.00 and memory at 890MHz at 9 cpu multi :D

yes have played with cpu multi also everything is fine so long as memory is keept around 1069 or lower even on cpu 6 multi

suckers are fun to play with till trying to get to 1113 which would be my next mem divider 1-2.4 at 4.6cpu speed every nogo results in haveing to remove sticks and putting old stick and reboot and then replaceing them again ( only memory eye have ever had that wont recover on this board)
