Do you have to have a reservoir in the loop, or can you just have a T and a fill port. Im going to be useing a swiftech 220 ultra kit. Thank for any help. Im also going to watercool my northbridge.

You don't need a reservoir, but some people, including myself, prefer to have one. It's easier to monitor your water levels, easier to fill (I think) and if you combine the two (i.e. attach a fill port to your reservoir) you have a winner.

well some sort of res is way quicker to use to fill your system when compared to t-line... so to answer to you question yes you can just have a t line but a res is more easier and more quicker to fill your loop

I just tried a T-line for the first time the other day and it was much more difficult to fill/bleed than a reservoir. So I decided to buy a reservoir for the system now as I prefer them. They both work but I think having a res is much less hassle.
