The after is going to have to wait a few days. My DD water block is due in on Thursday. I will air cools things for a few days before going to water cooling anyway just to make sure things are working correctly.

consider that Corsair fan optional. i have DDR3 memory and it doesn't get hot. nice parts though. that's a sexy pic.

Yes I had the same fan on my 2 gig DDR3 kit of my dominator and it lasted about 4 months before making a really strange noise at startup. I took it out and never installed another, so I agree that it doesnt need it.
