Ok my VID is 1.3 on the dot. and I run at 1.39 all day long at 3.4 ghz idle about 29-34c depening on ambient room temps.

Here's my question. I seem to be fsb limited and i want to get to 3.8 what is a safe voltage I have the chip under water. I am current at 375x9 stable 24/7 and if i bump the multiplier to 10 that puts me at 3.73 and I can post but 0x50 bluescreen on windows load. which is a l2cache issue i guess. q6700's seem to be hard to find info on and I dont want to take the voltage to far. I have been up to 1.45 but still cant get into windows. it will post all the way down to 1.34 at 375x10 but I keep bumping the voltaget with no luck at getting into windows. looking for suggestions im running on the maximus formula board with all the standard settings listed in the huge thread about it.

loadline calibration enabled or not ? why don't you try 8 x 450 ? wil give ya better results then 10 x 375...

also you might want to alter the chipset voltage settings slowly as AUTO really doesn't cut it most times.. if ya want to OC you need time to read up and experiment with settings and test test test test... don't just up voltages if you have no clue what they do... more isn't always better...
