i have a question i want to make some holes in my antec 900 case and ive read some of the guides like this one (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=156681&highlight=hole+saws) but i still have some questions. people have said that you sohuld clamp wood between the piece you want to cut. and since you cant really remove the mobo tray from the antec 900 i was wondering what else you coudl to do to help stabilize the cut?

also would this (http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100495376&N=10000003+90401&D=hole+saws) be the right kind of hole saw. and does it also come with the like "pilot" drill bit.

last thing does anyone know of a store like lowes or maybe home depot that has that u channel stuff?

thanks

you have to buy a chuck with a pilot bit on it for that hole saw, its a great set though, I have it and it works excellent

its right next to all the hole saws at the store, just go to the store and ask an attendant....

Some do, some don't. Strangly, I went through 4 different Home depots and 3 different Lowes when I was working outta Florida last week, looking for aluminum angles to frame a future case build. No joy and asking the people there got me anything from a blank stare to suggestions to use dry wall angles and to even make my own...which I actually can do, but I don't see how this guy thinks everyone would have aluminum sheets, cutting tables and large brakes and besides, what I asked for was aluminum angles (similar to U channels, but only 2 sides), not how to make aluminum angles. It's like going in and asking where the 2x4's are and having the guy lecture you on getting some lumber and a planner. Anyway, I gave up and decided these places must not stock em, so I went to http://www.onlinemetals.com/merchant.cfm?id=64&step=2&top_cat=60

and ordered my angles (that should link you to U channels..or channels) and paid nearly as much for shipping as I did for the angles. Getting more stuff didn't increase shipping cost much, so I even added some copper sheets and bars and a few aluminum bars as well. Came back to hawaii yesterday, went to my local home depot today and what do you know is in the second isle I walk down??? Yes, aluminum angles and channels. Un/Fortunately, they are charging damn near twice the cost it was online, so I either broke even for cost or came out a little ahead. If you live on the mainland, shipping should be cheap for you so, it would be easily cheaper to just get it online.

You mean molding then and I also had similar experience trying to find those in home depot and lowes and ended up buying online. Most watercooling sites sell em. Here is PPC http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1877 there are different types, just search molding on their site to see others.
