I have been trying to post this result on the ORB all day long and it seems to be down.

Gainward GF4 TI4400 316/688

Only 15 points away.

Set your hardware acceleration slider down 2 notches and youll get about another 5mhz core clock. Should get you the extra 15 points :).

Incase youre wondering - right click on desktop > properties > settings > advanced > troubleshoot.

Hope it helps you m8 :).

Now, thats something new to me. I do know that that only affects direct3d, which 3dmark is of course, But I would have thought that it would bring down scores more than a bit more on the core could bring them up. Very interesting.

Well I tried it and bumped the core up 3 and got the usual infinite loop bsod.

Hmm. Quick checklist then...

1 - Desktop res set to 1024 x 768 x 32 ?
2 - Monitor refresh rate set to 60hz ?
3 - LOD set to 3?
4 - W-buffer disabled?
5 - Limit queued blits to frame buffer?
6 - All DX7 textures disabled?
7 - Disable 8 bit palletised textures (DX8)?
8 - Disable NVDS textures (DX8)?
9 - Disable 16/32 bit Bump map textures?
10 - Realtime priority?
11 - All unneccesary services disabled?
12 - No desktop theme - windows classic interface?
13 - Clock, quicklaunch and system tray disabled?
14 - All desktop effects turned off?
15 - All pop - up boxes turned off?
16 - Monitor driver set to "Default Monitor"?
17 - Swap File disabled?
18 - Executive paging disabled?
19 - OS set to unload dlls from memory?
20 - All user features (auto-complete etc) turned off?

If youve done all that then I reckon its just a case of waiting for a colder day to bench on. Possibly move your pc outside for a couple of hours. Anything to get that last mhz FSB thatll see you over 14k.

I noticed youre using the IT7 - If youre not already using the 8z eval bios id suggest using it. I lost 1mhz FSB due to the enhance dram performance setting, but it gained me roughly 30 points more than I lost. CPU level 3 cache does nothing.

Thanks there is a lot more there than I have been doing especially related to windows config/settings but I will dig in and get on that stuff.

I am using 8Z and running at 171 3:4 with enhance off. So the system is smokin and is contributing greatly. The base run with the card running at default clock, and no Riva tweaks is 12220.

THanks
