Lol, good question. It's definitely an intel board(Asus ROG logo with a red and blue theme ,third picture from top left). I bet it's a rampage extreme.

EDIT: AFter looking closely at the above mentioned picture, I can confirm that it's a rampage extreme. The red toggle button thingys which can change FSB on the fly is very visible.

Wonder how it would do in Crysis, with some GTX 280's?

7.7s pi time 6007Mhz
Asus Rampage Extreme
Asus Top GTX 280
Asus Booth
Poked around at desktop most of the time, idling at 6Ghz. Dopped down to 5.8Ghz, went to lunch and came back an hour later to pickup where I left off.

The only other overclockers is Vince and Peter (Shimano...)

Did you run Crysis?

No, seriously, great job. That's pretty awesome.

Let me guess.. Vince is probably using the 790i FTW and Peter is using a Foxconn board, probably the Blackops or the dreadnought(even though it's not in production anymore) and both are using ln2.

I stopped by NVISION today after work. I saw k1ngp1n and shamino overclocking while some booth babes were handing out free stuff. Some dude was getting the crowd all pumped up not because of their amazing overclocking, but in exchange for free stuff. How they could concentrate with that level of noise is beyond me.

Congrats to k1ngp1n and shamino on achieving their world record

6ghz is a great milestone.. congrats :toast:
i'll try to reach the same when i get my E8600 tomorrow (i hardly doubt that it will be stable in 3d at 6ghz who knows maybe i'll get lucky )

I bet it ain't no picnic carrying that triple cascade around.
Probably weights more than Fugger himself :p:

And it's got it's own cart anyways.

...so massive that it requires its own cart to transport around the show floor.

lol I was there as he was approaching 6GHz. I'm at the NVISION GeForce LAN right now ;)

Congrats Fugger

Thanks guys, back home again safely.

Pretty good show, lots of people and I hit my goal of 6Ghz. Seemed a bit short and ended mid day.

Grats to Vince and Peter on breaking some world records, much harder task that kept them benching half the night at the show.

Chunk and his brother Slim did great for their first time with LN2. Ill post a video later as they closed in on 6Ghz.

Ill post videos and pictures up later when I get settled.

Nice Teeth - the rest is covered by LN2 fog so can't see much, but the the teeth look great (withe and well put together).

PS. You shouldn't allow a girl to play with LN2, that cooling is cold but sure can burn if not treated with respect an caution. :)
