Good work, can you say any differences between G28, G29 and G30 other than the 4870X2 fix in G30?

If i have a stable overclock in G28, it'll still be stable in G30, right?

Thanks.

i have a few notes, g29 added recognising some new intel cpu batches, for other detailed updates ill get back to you. And G29 -> G30 is just fix for 4870X2 xfire

I have a question for all the people who bought 2 X2's.

I know this is an extreme systems forum, but what was your actual reason for buying two? If I understand it correctly, there is no noticeable difference using two X2's as opposed to one, unless you're talking about unbelievably high resolutions. Above about 50fps the human eye can't tell the difference, if it's 50, 150, 250 it just looks the same. I guess my point is, is it really worth all that money just to see your 3dmark score increase?

I suppose one answer would be future-proofing.. but still, it's a lot of money, especially when the cards will likely fall in value in a few months.

I'm definitely not against building amazing rigs if you have that kinda cash to spare, but I looked into getting two of these and decided it wasn't worth the money as the only noticeable difference would be benchmarks.

Incorrect, don't believe everything you read ;)

Apart from that this isn't the thread to be discussing this issue i.m.o which has been covered extensively in the appropriate vga threads, or if you like you could start your own :)
