I was trying to flash my BIOS to something that will help my memory overclock (G.Skill F1-4000USU2-2GBHZ) and for some reason I just couldn't get it right. :mad:
I made a bootable USB drive with the HP Tool. I put the AwardBIOS flash tool on the USB and then chosen .bin file. I got it to the AwardBIOS flash screen and picked the correct BIOS. The only thing that struck me as weird was that when it was flashing to the new BIOS the first sector said it didn't need to be upgraded, then all other sectors were wiped and then reflashed.
I used TMod's BIOS CD to flash to a useable BIOS (it doesn't have the BIOS's I wanted to try) and it wiped and reflashed that first sector. :confused:
