Hi everyone,

Need to get another 2x1gb sticks to go with ram in signature, ballistix 16fd5 that is using micron d9gmh. I am running my set at 600mhz, 5-5-5-15 PL8 at 2.2v.

Which rams out of the following would be my best bet to try and pair with my current ram?

2Gb CellShock DDR2 PC2-8000 1000MHz (4-4-4-12) Dual Channel kit

Kingston HyperX 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-9200C5 1150MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX9200D2K2/2G)

OCZ 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 1066MHz/PC2-8500 (OCZ2N1066SR2GK) Dual Channel SLI
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/120453

Which one of those would best suit me? Or does anyone else have any better recommendations?

p.s i cant use any sticks like ocz reapers that are too tall as i want to keep using my dominator fan

Thanks in advance for any help guys, cheers

personally id get 2 sets of 2Gb CellShock DDR2 PC2-8000 1000MHz (4-4-4-12) Dual Channel kit
n keep the other as a backup
its a tossup what to get cause his set might do 1200@2.0-2.1v and no good runnin 2.2+ in those fore 24/7

Ok sticks arrived this morning. Plugged them straight into my setup alongside my ballistix and board booted first time no probs with ram set to 600mhz 5-5-5-15 PL8 2.2v. Quick test before work using memtest in windows passed fine.

Absolute quality, these cellshock rock!

Thanks for helping my choose the right memory guys.

Yes, Cell-Shock makes good ram, they have 8-layer pcb so they respond good to high voltage and chance of them degrading is rather small.

Nice choice Mumid, see my question in the P5Q thread  I just got stability out of my TeamGroup 8500's at 1186 MHz using 2.12v bios, so we have both made ram related progress today :D

@Mumid
Which Cellshock 8000 kit did you buy? I got the CAS5 kit and it doesn't want to do 600MHz for anything.

The cas 4 kit mate. Really really pleased with it, it was slightly more expensive than the cas5 kit but well worth the extra £9.

If the 1150 CAS5 kit holds out past the 31st, I'm getting a set of those.
