So now after these have been around for awhile, what is the final verdict on whether or not there is degradation when running the ram at 2000 MHz+ 24/7?

no degradation so far in 4 months with a mem clock of 2020 mhz 24/7 :p:
Im using the MSI OC version, it comes with the Hynix chips.

4 months at 2020 as well, on a preclocked Zotac Amp 8800GT.

since january running @ 1000MHz w/ no ramsinks or any real airflow over them, with no problems.

i really think these rumors get started when people OC their cards too far and don't notice any instability for a week or so. then it manifests and they go around screaming degradation.
