Not optimisation for the moment , i have found the fsb max benchs with different ratio but it's the best ratio :

Ratio 1 : 2 = boot at 565mhz , max 591mhz
Ratio 1 : 2.4 = boot at 565mhz , max 595mhz
Ratio 1 : 2.665 = boot at 530mhz , max 545mhz
Ratio 1 : 3 = boot at 465mhz , max 492mhz
Ratio 1 : 3.2 = boot at 445mhz , max 460mhz
Ratio 1 : 4 Cpu 200 = Not Boot at 333Mhz
Ratio 1 : 4 Cpu 266 = boot at 333Mhz , max 365mhz
Ratio 1 : 4 Cpu 333 = boot at 480Mhz , max 510mhz
Ratio 1 : 4 Cpu 400 = boot at 470Mhz , max 500mhz

Now , I will try to tweaker the Mchbar to find the best Perf/Fsb and also tested my E8600 under LN2 (with the NB in LN2) :)

Whats your NB temp like under load at 1.63v? I ask because mine gets to 60C very quickly with only 1.53v and it makes me nervous..

Very good info Bobbie, thanks for that, especially Ratio- FSB capability.

I did 585FSB on my sucky E84... surely time to get something new and with 10X multi :D

@ boblemagnifique, thanks for sharing your findings helped me a lot in my run today:up:

BTW, I would like to share something I found. E8400 was LN2 cooled, rest was AIR cooling!

Ratio 1 : 2.665 = boot at 580mhz , max 585mhz [vNB=1.625v | vPLL=1.7Xv | vTT=1.5v | vDIMM=1.99V]

Some 32M action after boot.. but RAM wont do 7-6-6

I would also thank you for the settings, they work really well, now benching at 585fsb with 9.5 multi 8600 under phase, nb under water at 32° under load..

More will come when I go colder, thanks

thanks a lot for sharing the results of all the memory dividers!
very useful information! :toast:

did you find any good register tweaks? :D
