hi,
i have just installed windows 2000 and it is working fine but if any of my family want to use the pc they have to keep on coming to me asking what is my password, now i am getting a bit bored of this and i want to know if there is some way to disable the login bit at the start and just enter desktop striaght away?
u know like 98 or ME?

Yes you can disable it, look for something like automatic logon. I'm not on my rig atm so i can't look where it is
Otherwise just don't put any password, just tell them to press enter at the logon screen

does any 1 know how to get rid of the login ?
i got rid of the password at the start so all i need to do is press enter but is there some way of getting rid of the login all together?

Start->Settings->Users and Passwords

Uncheck the box next to "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer."

Then follow the dialog boxes...
