Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I really only post here lol.
Unfortunately, There is zero room to move my cards up.
So, first card bottom slot (normal slot) second card goes in the middle slot, and on top of this is a radiator and 25mm fans)

Now, unfortunately evga forgot to send me an sli connector.. but I'm not sure if thats the reason I'm getting this error.

When I boot, it says in sli I must move my sli card to 2nd slot.
Which from what I think, is the top slot, which means I'm royalled F, as my radiator and fans are there.

Is it possible to sli with 2 slots that are closest to each other?

The top and bottom slots are connected to the SPP via the nForce 200 part that provides PCI-E 2.0. The middle slot is PCI-E ver 1, and routed to the SPP via the MCP over hyper-transport in band-aid like fashion. You would not want to run in the config you have anyways for this reason.

If you moved down (up?) to the bottom slot you could probably put both in/out fittings on the same side of the block.

With the 780i to run SLI you need to have the card in the first slot and the third slot.

I take it the Rad and fans are internal (a pic of the situation as it stands now would help I think) can you move the fans to an external config thereby gaining 25mm which might allow the above suggestion?

i think you'd have problems with the bridge.

i dont think you can use the tri-sli bridge with 2 cards, is what i more mean.

Can't speak for 780i, but 790i comes up with an error message if you try to put the cards next to each other and refuses to boot.

780i came up with an error, but guess what?
I moved the radiator to the right one slot and just use one fan on the mcr 220. (i know it's not efficient, but one is better than none)
Moved the card up one, but works perfectly.
I ran out of tubing, so I had to use 3/8 for one section.. pics to come!
Thanks guys
