Anywho, I wanted to fill up the first cpu loop today and configure the wiring for cables, because once the top flush radiator goes in, I won't be able to get to the cables anymore, and also have to dissasemble the loop.

So, possible to run a 780i with the nb block, but with no water going through it?
Or am I running a risk of burn

I believe the 780i NB generates too much heat and requires some form of cooling. It won't run for long.

Thanks guys, I will be ultra careful in making sure the cables are perfect before hand.

Might be a risk, just to give you an idea my 750i runs at 50c! (stock cooling) but most said that was normal.
