This is probably a stupid question, but...Isn't tomorrow. August 12th, the release date for the 4870x2?
Should we be seeing this item pop up on stores like newegg and the likes?

I could just be crazy

I seen some early reviews just now & clearly the 4870X2 as a single card is the fastest thing on this planet however I want to see some 4870X2 CF vs 280GTX TRI-SLI setups lol THATS!!!!! the REAL test ;)

can't wait to see some 3dmarks

 4800s haven't been tearing up the 3DMarks from what I've seen, look at game performance instead.

Early vantage benchmarks showed the 4870x2 cards completely destroying nvidia if i recall correctly. This might not be the case with the actual cards though....

the accounts i've heard actually indicate that the release card performs better than ES tests indicated...
but thats just hearsay.
