This thing is pretty cool! I was originally going to get the Asus eee, but the small keyboard was a problem for my goliath hands :p:

I love the Wind because the keyboard is about the size of any normal keyboard, and the screen is really nice. The Wind was also a better buy over the eee because the Intel Atom is at 1.6Ghz, rather than 1.2Ghz. I get about two hours of life with the 3-cell battery, but I will be upgrading to the 6-cell within a few weeks.

I don't really have any complaints about this laptop, because it's probably the best one I've ever used.

Ah yes, but I find the Air is really heavy, don't you?

May be, but its dimensions and relatively powerful hardware makes Macbook very attractive.

I have to say I'm sorry about your battery life. I have the older EeePC 900. On the latest 802 BIOS, I get about 5 hours idle battery or 3.5 hours under use. I was personally thinking about that Acer subnotebook... or a new EeePC 1000 (not 1000H). Other than that, how do you find the keyboard? That's the other thing that kept me from a Wind... the Fn key is where the Ctrl key should be.

They keyboard is awesome! I quickly adjusted to the Ctrl key, so it's not really a problem anymore. Everything is superb except for the battery life; MSI will be releasing the 6-cell for purchase in September.
