I have a Q9450 overclocked to 3.2ghz (400x8). It passed the P95 medium FFT test with flying colours for 12+ hours.

But now it's failing the blend test, which is strange because the memory is Geil DDR3-1600C7 and with the overclock is operating at it's rated speed and timings. I even had the voltage slightly above it's recommended 1.9v, but I keep getting lockups and BSOD's that look memory related.

I've tried setting the commandrate to 2N and the performance level to 6, but still the same happened. Currently running blend again with the timings loosened to 8-8-8-26 and the voltage up to 1.99v (real), hopefully it will stabilise there but it's strange that it won't run at it's basic rated speed.

Has anyone else tried Geil ram on the Blackops? I'm wondering if this is a blackops stability issue or I have bad sticks.. I'm using bios G28.

Seems solid at 8-8-8-26 with 1.99v (real) and 2N command rate, it's done 6 hours of blend with no problems.

Will try the stock timings at 2.0v when I get home. Stange how it doesn't like its defaults though.. not sure if its worth the hassle to RMA as it does work.

Seems perfectly happy at 8-8-8-26-1N (Blend 10hrs) but keels over at 7-7-7-24 even at 2.0v vdimm.
