im starting a bottom rad p180 project, ive got my parts coming on tuesday and here the test paining of the HD cage

mcp 355 with EK g3/8" top

i thought that bits power had high quality high flow fittings but i got a defective one, the pic sux but the threads split with about 2-3 lbs of force for a g1/4 1/2" fitting

yah u can see the separation though, also my mcw came from a broken return form newegg, so dont buy blocks at newegg they are cheaper for a reason, and i will have to drive to petras tomorrow at least i have a shop close that has it

i hate rivits, i had to drill about 20 of them out and 6-7of those i had to grind out since i didnt want to tear the case up
cleaned bottom pick coming, i should be done modding with pics tomorrow and with pain on friday, also petras is great i went and it took 10mins to get my order then got stuck in traffic. and newegg comped me a broken mcw30 if any1 knows were to get a replacement top i would appreciate a link

its got so much room on the bottom once u take the trash off, thats upside down if u cant tell

thx for showing my build up we have basicaly the same parts and even the same rad grill, but i have the better pump
im just going to have to do it that much better

i finished, until u get the parts that im missing, i need another rad grill and the drive bay inserts to use the mid HD rack

u also need to buy a heat gun and a wiresleeve kit :D good stuff zanz, ill tty on vent tonight bout it :)

Sorry, wasn't my intention! Just thought it might be helpfull.....
Good work so far. :up: How are you going to secure the rad? I made a bracket out of sheet steel and riveted it in position.

i have a bracket with 1/16" plate steal and a 90 bend then i painted it and used 1/4" bolts to lock it down, its in the back pic, if i dissemble ill get a pic of only it
its a door anchor or somehting like that, and i moded it
u also need to buy a heat gun and a wiresleeve kit :D good stuff zanz, ill tty on vent tonight bout it :)
and thx for the case and rad, but i need those hd plates for the center cage, i have my drives side mounted on a 5.5 to 3.5 adapter and i cant use dvd drives (i shouldent miss them though)

nice build. on your rad fans are you drawing air in from the out side or from the inside?

no they going back to front, so its pushing air to the camera in the last pick, pulling air through the rad

zanz, you should PUSH (push is better than pull) through the rad from the outside, ie, flip the fans around ;)

i had to rebuild to replace my bits power crystal Tline block that cracked affter just over a month of use, and i moved the tline way up, as well as putting sound foam on the bottom of the MB sectional

and im starting a new build on this platform soon with a tipple rad on the inside with the 2 fan and u wont guess were it is going
