I hope this is in the right section.

I'm shopping around for parts. I would like to go to a physical store, with an updated website. GTA area. I'm in Mississauga.

So far I know:

Infonec: http://www.infonec.com/
Canada Computers: http://www.canadacomputers.com/
Wintronic Computers: http://www.wintroniccomputers.com/

Riiiight.

They have a sale on E8500s. Only $329. Same with HD 4870s.

www.tigerdirect.caAvoid like the plague unless a special is on.

Directcanada.com and NCIX are both good sites.

Buy at www.NCIX.com , best place in all Canada.

Also...if you manage to understand French, use this website ;) http://www.infoprix.ca/

NCIX allow pricematching, means if you suggest a lower price from another e-tailer (same piece, with a link for sure) they may give you the price you asked for (you can save alot by doing that) Infoprix is a big ''data center'' for computer parts prices, to find the best price possible for the pieces you want (thought they don't show em all)

NCIX <3 best customer service!

It would be nice to see some more competition!

The newegg always seems to have some great deal (free shipping...), hopefully we'll see some up here too!

I shop around all the PC shops in chinatown. These stores have the best prices than tigerdirect.com

Its nice to inspect it. Its not easy to tell if a monitor is good just off specs.

Here's a bunch from Southern Ontario. The "contact us" links will usually bring up the physical store locations.

Crap....I just mentioned it cuz when they have sales...they are pretty good. I realize some people have had bad experiences with them but in the last three years that I've bought items....not a single time have I had an issue, and that includes 2 returns without as much as a hint of trouble so.............whatever !!

TigerDirect is OK if you do a walk-in purchase and avoid items with mail-in rebates. Otherwise YMMV. I've purchased online from them a few times and never had an issue other than rather pricey shipping charges.

I always use tigerdirect. Always receive within 3 days, have never had a problem.
