So here's the original rad & a review:

Here's it gutted:

The rad itself

bottom of heat sink: shiny!

controller board

pump & resevior

The pump is silent, although I don't know the thermal capacity of the rad. It has 3/8" tubing. I actually have two of these units, but only disassembled one. They take up too much room in a case.

I was thinking, this could handle a single video card. Maybe a north & south bridge. I would not put this on a quad, possibly a dualcore. There's also the question of how to mount a fan to it and then mount the rad itself.

Any ideas?

the unit is too big to do anything productive with it.

Making it external would also make it ugly. :\

Its ugly, butt-ugly at that.

I can make it fit if I really want to, I have a rocketfish case. It's huge.

Its such a waste to get rid of a decent pump/rad. I'll have to ponder this one for a while.
