7/16" OD barbs really aren't necessary--one of the great things about using 7/16" ID tubing over 1/2" OD barbs is seal you get around the fitting (no clamps required). While those do look nice, there isn't much point in making them.

Compression fittings for 7/16" ID, 5/8" OD tubing, on the other hand, would be a very nice thing to see :)

Alex, I beg to differ... A gift from god for 3/8" tubing owners. We can now use it for a tight fit while not too hard like 1/2" barbs.

QFT.
Regarding the 3/8 users, I agree but I still think that it is useless. There is no reason to run 3/8 if you are not using compression fittings to fit small blocks.
You could use the 3/8 over 1/2 fittings anyway.
7/16 compression will be nice for sure.

Depends on if the comp fittings will fit on a D-Tek Fusion

Exactly my thoughts, that's the main reason I use 7/16" ID tubing is for the extra leak proofing, but we don't have anything for this size in terms of compression fittings, glad to see that's coming..

QFT The great thing about 7/16 ID is that it stretches over 1/2in barbs. I can't wait for the 7/16in compressions though! :yepp:

OK if there are 7/16" compressions, that fit the fuzion, then I'd be like this > < tempted to buy some. Although, I've been tempted to go Feser 3/8" ID 5/8" OD tubing with some 3/8" compressions as well.... hrm...
