Nobody?

No beeps from the board at all,all the fans spin still on the FF code, cant see it being a memory problem as all ive done is change the waterblock out and put the cpu on aircooling.

Tryed that i took out the board battery pulled out the psu plug and reset the cmos, and the board will go straight to the FF code.

Hi!

This is obvious, but have you tried your monitor with another PC? Recently i changed my NVIDIA 8800 GT to an ATI HD 4870 and subtly appeared on the screen some white vertical bars and sometimes the screen went black entering the BIOS or in the POST process (the display always showing FF). I removed the ATI and plug it again the 8800 GT and the white bars still there.

Then i tried that monitor in other PC and the white bars appeared again, so was a defective monitor and not the graphics card.

Cheers, ducted.

I'll test this weekend a XFX GTX 280 602MHz with my BlackOps (i'm a retailer) and i'll tell you if gives me any problem.

Cheers, ducted.

Hi clone38.

I tested an XFX GTX 280 602 MHz v1.1 with my BlackOps (BIOS G26) and worked fine. I also tried connecting the card to the monitor directly using a DVI to DVI cable, using the DVI to VGA adapter to the monitor via VGA cable and both worked fine.

Maybe it's a problem with the PSU, i'm using a Corsair HX1000W with the 8 and 6 pin GTX connectors attached to the +12V2 rail, and the rest of the components connected to the +12V1 rail. Try different combinations with your PSU cables or try another PSU if your GTX is working in other computers.

If your BlackOps is working fine with the older graphics card i think this should not be a problem caused by your mobo, nor your GTX card.

Hope you resolve this soon.

Cheers, ducted.
