I found a Pioneer SX-780 in a second hand store, and I got it for $30. It sounds great in my living room paired up with a set of vintage Advent speakers.

Hopefully I will find something a little bigger. I was thinking a bigger Pioneer SX-1050 or SX-1250, Sansui 9090, or a Yamaha 2020. For speakers I want Pioneer HPM-100's or something similar.

Wow! Another person who doesn't think you need the latest and greatest to have great sound quality

You can't get great sound quality from the latest and greatest!
Nobody can understand that tho. :ROTF:

Oh yea! I just won a pair of HPM-100's off ebay. They are a little different there is an aluminum ring around the port. And mine are the 200watt versions.
