Cant u simply buy new fans?, i have heard that lots of antec 900 fans died, same as you, so dont bother trying to revive them, just pick up new ones and thats it.

im not sure thats the problem thow  they both stopd working at the same time and every now and then they start working ... is there other loose wires i should be looking for on my motherboard that controlle the fans ? or could it even be the powersupply ?

What PSU was it? That's a rare problem to have. Maybe you forced the pins on the molex connectors out and over time they slipped off completely?
