I found a Compaq Server HD a bit ago and am curious if it even works. was dropping the wife off down town and it was lying on the curb down in Houstons buisness district. Its a Compaq wide ultra3 scsi Model: BD03664553

Its a 36GB 10K rpm server drive. Are there any "CHEAP" interface cards that I could buy to test this thing out. Obviously I'm not going to spend $300 for a card to SEE if it works.

don't waste your time with street garbage... it's prolly broken anyways...

If you really want to try, you need a scsi interface card... And the right scsi cable that will fit the drive and card connectors...
You can find used cards on ebay or ghetto PC shops...
