MARCO74, can you post full BIOS settings, volts, volt ref., timings etc.?

wow, and so low vtt and pll! :0
very nice! :toast:

i talked to one of our bios engineers 2 days ago and he said he thinks he can tweak out 20more mhz for the fsb with the next BIOS release :D
ill let you know once its done! :)
should take a week or so though since hes working on P45 atm

glad you like it :D
ill pass it on to the engineers, they are always happy to hear feedback :)

Im not sure how this stacks up to the rest of the dual cores on this board with all air cooling, but this by far exceeded my exceptions after what I had heard :D

Vcore: 1.4825v BIOS selected, 1.46v real
Vpll: Stock
Vnb: 1.5v BIOS selected, 1.52v real
Vdimm: 2.155v BIOS selected, 2.16v real
CPU cooler: TRUE 120 w/120mm Delta
NB cooler: Stock w/92mm fan
RAM cooler: 120mm Delta

Please don't mind the time, this is no tweak at all, just testing the combo out :)

congrats filmbot! :toast:
what vtt was this with?

Vtt is 1.35v BIOS selected. Also, I rushed this screeny but rams can also do 6-5-5 at the same speed and settings, http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb39/bhpwner/32Mpass-550x8RAM733mhz6-5-5tighttim.jpg :D

Working on getting PL to 7 right now without using too much vNB, if I have to go above 1.6v, I'm not going to bother right now. After that, I'm just going to start lowering volts till everything is still stable, then its on to air benching to prepare ;)

EDIT:
Also, saaya, is there any advice so I will be able to run the 1:3 and 1:3.2 divider? I'm having problems getting those to run. Also, just some advice to guys, I kept getting stuck on code 50 and it would sometimes randomly pass, but as soon as I unplugged my external HD, everything is fine now.

code50 us final usb initialization, so that makes sense :D
look here for postcodes:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=190952

and filmbot, did you meassure vtt? since its 45nm it should be only 1.25v vtt real :o
very nice! :toast:
i really regret not having had the time to play with our 8600 samples :D
about the dividers hmmmm, well they should work with the right strap, but the problem is that when you use the strap jumpers on the board, they seem to lock out all the overclocking options :/ But you can give that a try, use the jumpers to force a different strap and check if 200 266 333 or 400 allow you to use the 1.3x dividers.
somebody reported earlier that they do work with a cpu/memory combo.
it could also be affected by the SPD of the memory, so you can try different spds on your memory.
techpowerup has a database of spds, and typhoon burner offers a free zip collection of spd files for download, and i posted micron 1066 reference spd files in the guides and tweaks section.

if you use a 266fsb cpu or force the 266 strap, in combination with a ddr3 800 spd profile, you should be able to use the 1:3 divider
if you use a 333fsb cpu or force the 333 strap, in combination with a ddr3 1066 spd profile, you should be able to use the 1:3.2 divider

if the jumpers dont work, then you could try a pin mod using silver paint on the back of the cpu to connect some pins to make it recognized as a 266 or 333 cpu :D
a bit old school, and im sorry it doesnt work from bios like it should, but if you wanna do it quickly this is how you could do it right away :)

congrats on 600fsb marco! :toast:

Ok, I will try the jumpers tonight, I didn't even know they were on the board

No I didn't measure the VTT, I really didn't think about it because I don't like poking around the board :p: I will try the reference SPDs also and see if that helps.

Is this revision of the BIOS ready yet? I have an ES sample that does 545-550MHz on aircooled NB, will try to hook up single stage unit to NB.

hey MARCO74, can you post your voltages for 595fsb with air? I guess you're using the stock blackops NB fan... what voltage/temp is your nb at? I only ask because 3.2ghz (400x8) seems to be a wall for me, and my NB gets VERY hot if i try to push higher with more than 1.5v..
