...2.8?!?

I run my brothers Q6600 at 3.2 on the stock cooler, and im not going higher just from the heat. This chip is super easy to OC, run a TRUE or good liquid and you can do 3.6 or 3.8 no problem... Generally...

3.5 on a Q6600 is quite meh for good liquid. I would raise your expectations to 3.8, or maybe 4.0 if you have a good chip. I couldn't get mine above 3.6 24/7 stable due to my TRUE not quite handling the heat load and the temps shot up above where i felt safe.

ok had the Q6600 2.88ghz overclock stable at stock voltage ortho test for 12 hours no errors. I just installed the ati ccc 8.7 and the bios resett to stock speed now the only way I can get the oc back is to set the voltage to 1.3500 I never adjusted ram at all (only have 2GB 667 ram) do i have to adjust ram as well to be able to drop cpu voltage back as it runs a bit hot for my likeing. Does the ati video driver change something in bios that would cause the cmos to resett I have a GA-X38-DQ6 think f8 bios from memory. setting I have are 320x9 pci express 100 voltage 1.3500 as said earlier first attempt very noobish any help appreciated
