MSI 260GTX OC EDITION....3dmark06 & Crysis

Hi huys to days ago arrived at home my MSI 260gtx OC EDITION and my ASUS P5Q DLX. In this my first test i decid directly bench with oc, after this test, belive me the vga and cpu want more oc, so check this out my bench for now, later i will try with more oc.

very nice scores btw. I think the 260 is the best performance/dollar/watt card right now.

Can you pls tell what drivers are you using? we have the same graph/mobo combination:yepp:
so, what INF(chipset drivers)/BIOS for the P5Q Dlx,
and what BIOS/Driver for MSI N260GTX-T2D896-OC?

Tripko, hi men, sorry im late but tell u...........the driveers re 177,41, bios version in mohterboard 0803, and vga bios version is 62.00.0e.00.03, noww let me tellu tah y put my quad at 3960 and clocks 75/1265/1550 and 3dmark 2006 scored 20325 with same drivers, later i wll post with 177.83 and will see if we have and improvement here.

no no , im not using nothing like that, just an normal overclocking, also, i did higher scores too...........gtx 260 is an oc monster, belevi me, and my quad is good too

Those scores are too high for those cpu and gpu clocks, looks like you are using lod, midmap or both.- I really have to agree, the problem is that many cards don´t pass 20k in 3DMark2006.

20k+ have to be pure CPU performance and nothing else, remember that the resulotion till is very low in original settings (1280x1024) and when the points reach nearly 20k the bechmark become very CPU-bound.

The not even a single or dual 4870X2 woulden´t pass 20k with same setup, you need a 5,5GHz+ quadcore to get higher score.

Why can´t we all just get to Vantage? :P Oh, Why diden´t they create a free version... ^_^

Your Crysis benchmarking is still awesome, can´t belive those score with GTX 260... Awesome review, keep it up!:up:

Try uploading that to hwbot.org.
