:welcome:

So back in April I started to build my own computer case out of wood that I had been thinking about for a while. I'm not going to post that whole process because it has nothing to do about liquid cooling but if you would like to read up on it I have the worklog over in the cases section.

So here starts my liquid cooled section of this project. This is what the case looked like before I started the majority of the liquid cooling. I had some of the parts just so I could get a size measurement so that I could finish building the case and not worry about screwing up.

Here we go

Loop 1: CPU (3/8" PVC tube, 1/2" barbs)
-EK-res400 rev2
-MCP655
-MCR320 (6 "high" scythes push/pull)
-D-TEK FuZion V2 (quad core mid chamber)

Got everything out of the case that was in the way (basically everything but the PSU)

Run the tubes and put on the anti-kink

Apparently plastic anti-kink doesn't like boiling water

Loop run finished

And with that my CPU loop is done =) still to do is the Mobo loop with black dye and the MCR220 and then the GPU loop with more blue dye and the other MCR320. Basically the only difference between the loops are the blocks and radiators.

Also I guess I should say that idle I get anywhere between 29 and 31C and under load I get as high as 42 but it hovers between 38 and 40C. I decided to do some OCing to see what I could do (still learning the whole concept) but with my limited knoledge I got the CPU to 3.4GHz (1GHz over clock) and the temps didn't change... at all... =)
