Ok sorry my load temps at 3.6GHz is 59C so i have room and 3.6 is 100% stable. And in my post i put the settings i was using so someone could tell me whats wrong with them.

K i forgot that its on 1023MHz i think at 5-5-5-15 and i can easy run 1066MHz so its not my RAM.

so you are worried about ya temps is that it ? as you say it's stable... I would use 400FSB and put the ram at 1066 where it belongs... you got a nice CPU that does 3.6Ghz at 1.4 or less... cherish it...

Ya high temps (suppose it's CPU temp not core temps) go usually hand in hand with a low VID (check that with coretemp program)

If this is not the problem plz tell us what it is... these posts don't get us anywhere... edit ya first post, tell us if she fails at eg 410 FSB eg but is stable at 400... it might be the temps that hinder it go further than 3.6, or not enough Vcore...

Ok so my settings i am trying to use are at the top and i'm trying to get above 3.645GHz (405x9). My temps at 3.6GHz are pretty good and i don't need lots of vcore to run it.

When i use those (at the top) setting it won't boot/post. I don't know y, i tried a higher vcore, no difference.

So i basicly need to know what north bridge, south bridge, PLL and FSB terminal volts i should use. I had a look around but i didn't really find anything but vcore settings, also the Q6600 overclocking guides never seem to go above 3.6GHz.

I'm sorry for such a useless post before, i don't know what i was thinking :(

BTW my VID is 1.2375v

That's a nice cpu and while you might be able to squeeze a couple hundred extra mhz from it on air for 24/7 you really should ask yourself is it worth it. Once you start climbing above 3.6ghz the voltage demands (and temps) rise sharply.

Really? Well soon i'm getting another 2 fans for my IFX-14 and if its gets way high, i'll set my protable air con to blow into my front fans :)
BTW i wouldn't run 24/7 i only want it for benchmarking and cause i really want to hit 3.8GHz.
