Hey all, I'm having a bit of trouble with the CRT monitor at my dads house. Most of the time Windows XP boots up, everything is good. But sometimes the monitor just turns itself off and will not go back on. Booting into Safe Mode however, the monitor stays on. Is there anything that can make the monitor work 100%?

Thanks.

*Edit* It happens after the XP loading screen has gone.

it aint the monitors fault by the sounds of it! If the monitor goes of right after XP load screen, this means that someone/somehow has messed with the resolution/refresh rate - they put it too high for the monitor to handle!
Go into safe mode & put the resolution & refresh rate right down, iirc thats the way to fix it, then boot into XP normally & put the res/ref @ a setting the monitor can actually do!

gl & let us know how its goes!
