When you guys add a 90 degree delrin cube on a block or a radiator and want to position it in the exact direction, what 1/4" thread adaptor do you use?

The koolance and danger den ones seems to just be as is, meaning whatever direction the blocks ends up, it stays there, as to move it to the left to adjust position, will losen it from the thread.

Seems like you could just keep re-inserting it, until it lines up the way you want it...

I guess because of the rubber o-ring it probably would give me that extra squishy twist for extra wiggle room.

hmm...

You could always use that 2 piece job from BP.

Go to the hardware store and get some extra o-rings of different thicknesses. Adding one of two o-rings should allow you to line things up just right.

may be you could ask this guy how he did it...sounds like he used something very similar or close in his build

On the delrin 90, or the male to male adapter, the threads start off at different areas. Think of a clock, on one side, the treading starts at 3'oclock on the other side, it might start off at 6 or at 9. get it?

So if it doesn't fit one way, flip it. If that doesn't work, flip the adapter. And as Mcoffey stated, no 2 are the same.

Thanks to everyone who responded. I will just do as told.
My build should be finished in 2 weeks.

You can use different o-ring thickness to help it stop where you want. You could probably even stack two of them, but be careful about leak checking.

I've found that there's generally enough squish in an o-ring to make an entire revolution with the delrin piece so it points in the right direction.
