Hello, below describe the components of my new pc:

DFI Lanparty P35 DK T2RS
ATI HD 3870
C2D E8400
G-Skill F2 - 8500 CL5D - 2GBPK

I have the PC running without overclock.

The problem I have is as follows, to enter the memtest was hangs up machine. The version I have is Memtest86+ V2.01. Only branded machine with memtest, games and programs working properly. At the memories I have with the voltage that have default, which is 2.1V. I would like to know their opinions and tell me whether or not I should alarm for that reason. One of the reasons that I have to try to solve this problem is because I want to overclock, that's what I need to test memories.

I hope can help. I apologize for the language was very little English, jajajajajajaja.

Thanks :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

What are your mem timings at 2.1v. The only recommendation I can make is increase the voltage to 2.2v to the memory and try Memtest again.

Timings at 2.1v 5-5-5-15 1066MHZ. I will try to increase the voltage to 2.2.

I tried increasing voltage to 2.2V and it did improve, but it hung up at test #5.
Is it normal? If it is the memory tath is faulty, shouldn't memtest show errors instead of hunging up?

i tried running 800 4-5-5-15 and i did one loop in memtest without errors.
This is what CPUZ says the SPD is:

What can i do to make it work as it should a 1066?

What can i do to make it work as it should a 1066?It looks like it's a memory timing issue. Your ram can't do DDR2 8500 even at 2.2v. Try the following timings:

6-5-5-15
5-5-5-18
5-6-6-15

See if any of those work. If they do, use them. Otherwise, you can RMA the ram for not working to spec or try 2.3v at 5-5-5-15 but more than 2.2v usually requires a fan on the memory.

Hello, it occurred to me to prove the reports separately and are working properly according to memtest. Maybe there is some incompatibility problem or to put dual channel need to set the bios?

Last questions!!!!!!

could be a voltage-less issue on the chipset? For a DDr2 1066 Dual Channel configuration, wich is the voltage that must have the chipset of my motherboard?

bye.

How much voltage do you suggest?
yes, my kit is single sided, is it good or bad?

I'm using 1.3V instead of stock 1.25V on 4x2GB DDR2 Corsairs 1066MHz and it works, RAM on 2.1 , NB 1.3 no issues
