After adding an E8500 processor to an IP35 PRO that was stable with an E6750 it would randomly restart and go back to the desktop. The ram is GS F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ. After trying all possibilities, board, processor different memory, video card, power supply, the condition continued.
I finally have it stable., to achieve this the memory voltage was raised to
2.2V. Any idea as to the need for the increase? I have some F2-8500CL5D-2GBK R coming. Will I need to have the voltage at 2.2V for this also?
Everything is at SPD and no OC
