Hi all,

It's been a while since I built a new system so I decided to make a new project this summer. To remind you of my old system you can have a look here:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=164286

First Mad-Max was built in a rush as I was doing in it in my spare time at work. This time I decided to do it at home and spend as much time as possible to achieve my goal.

What I want to achieve in my new Mad-Max project is to have a very clean and tidy looking case.

Hope you guys enjoy it and any comments are welcome.
Keep your eyes on here as I will be posting first pictures soon

lukashill

I haven't decided yet what colours I will use for the loops, I think green and blue with black coils will look quite nice.

lol You asked question while I was making the answer ;) I will use feser one fluid.

As long as it isn't red [millipede] :p: The Feser One series really do look nice under UV.

I like red colour but almost anything red under UV looks pinky
I was thinking of using feser black liquid and gloss red coils (no uv) but there would be no UV effect at all. I think I will just stick with blue and green.

Blue and green tend to be overused.

how did you mount the 480gtx rad? double sided tape?

Looks very nice, even thos fate tubings ( which im not a fan of ) are looking good ;)

You should have bought sleeve in a better quality, you can still look through.
The only way would be to sleeve one time more over the sleeve or to buy a better sleeve ;)

Here you can get the MDCP Sleeve :

http://www.mdpc-x.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage-mdpc.tpl&product_id=18&category_id=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=54

The guys selling it are the makers of the " Million Dollar PC " Site, check it out, they only publish really outstanding cases ;) :

http://www.million-dollar-pc.com/

For the 16 Euros you get 5 Meters of the Sleeve an 1 Meter Shrink.
I know its not cheap but the sleeve is worth it ;)

I dont know how high the shipping would be, but when you click on " Versandkosten " ( Shipping costs) on the page it says that there are no shipping costs for it, doesnt matter how much you buy. But im not sure if this is only for Germany or Europe, you can write the an email and ask about the shipping :

All sleeves sold are Thecflex brands.
I think that the MDPC sell the "Flexo Clean Cut" :

Although I'm not quite sure.

I don't think it's Techflex. First of all, I think its Nylon sleeving, because Nylon has a much denser weave. Second of all, I looked and didn't find any Techflex in 3/16" (4.4mm). MDPC offer their sleeving in 4.4mm, hence the manufacturer has to make that size to begin with ;)

Closest I found is this - http://www.takefiveaudio.com/mall/shopexd.asp?id=299&bc=no

edit: ok maybe it is Techflex but different kind -> http://www.techflex.com/prod_NMN.asp

Hi lukashill, nice looking build you have got there  I'm really impressed with the SATA cable and sleeving you done on the 24pin cable.

Did you ever contact the German company for the MDPC sleeving,I like the look of it,or did you find anywhere in the UK that sells stuff like that ?

I intend to do all my cables including the 24pin mobo one on my new build and would love to use that type of sleeving.
How did you do your SATA cable? did you just shorten the wires between each SATA power connector or make a new one up?

Hi lukashill, nice looking build you have got there  I'm really impressed with the SATA cable and sleeving you done on the 24pin cable.

Did you ever contact the German company for the MDPC sleeving,I like the look of it,or did you find anywhere in the UK that sells stuff like that ?

I intend to do all my cables including the 24pin mobo one on my new build and would love to use that type of sleeving.

Thanks mate, I'm glad you like it. I didn’t contact the German guys yet and couldn’t find anyone in the UK selling similar stuff as I have too many things on my head.
I use made a new sata power cable by using the push in connectors. It’s very simple to do, took me about 30 mins to complete. Wish you luck with your new build and if I find out where to get the MDPC sleeving in the UK I will let you know.

No problems...I will maybe give them a try and see if they ship to the UK.The only other site I found that sold a good selection of sleeving was a US one here (https://www.wirecare.com/index.asp).If all else fails maybe will put an order in with them.

Will give the SATA cable a try when doing the rest of the sleeving.:)

is there any bundled/packaged kits of sleeving for wire modding? It's even mentioned in Techflex but where to buy it retail? so called "Case Mod Computer Cable Customization Kits"

http://www.techflex.com/packaged_kits.asp

This project is incredible. :D

Is it okay if I borrow some of your great ideas? I have the same case you see, and struggelig to find the right way to mount my radiators. :)

But after looking at this I think I've found the right way. :)

EDIT: One thing I forgot asking you about. Do you have room for SLI/Crossfire? :)

And again, nice build. Love it. :)

Sorry to hi-jack.... but with the sleeving... is there much difference between MDPC and MurderMod??? [Going to ship to Aus so gotta decide which ones worth the $$$$]

Scrap that, saw on MM site that they use MDPC-X sleeving
