I poked around a bit and I gather you can set up all sorts of cool media screens on this thing. But I haven't seen a comprehensive description of all it does. Any temp sensors/ readouts; fan control capabilities? Flow meter readings even?

Apparently it's not even compatible with Vista's SideShow.

For 100$ you can almost buy a secondary 17" LCD display. I call it useless.

Thanks. Bittech had a small review, it looks like you can set it to display a few applications including RivaTuner, ATI tools and speedfan. Doesn't seem like it has any independent temp sensors or power sources for fans, but is only for displaying readings from various kinds of software. I guess that would be handy, but I'm not sure it's worth $100.

Hey guys, a friend of mine wanted to put 2 of these Matrix Orbital units into his case. One to display his CPU temps, RAM usage and stuff, and other to display music tracks, etc. I told him that he could program different screens in the one unit and have them cycle. But he said he wants to go for an effect like this: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=213395. Hey, when I saw that, I didn't blame him!!

Just wondering if Vista (or LCD Studio) could support 2 or more of these units installed in the same system? I would hate for him to buy 2 of them and only be able to use 1!!!

Thx,

Mike
