I just installed a new copy of XP Pro and it keeps reverting back to the old Classic theme after a restart every time. What do I need to do to keep it at the XP style?

umm, thats a good question really.... that is kinda of weird though, have you changed anything when you installed anything via drivers/updates?
maybe something got put into registry that makes it go right too Classic, one thing to check is under your SERVICES, make sure THEMES is set too Automatic. if set manual i think it goes to classic as default.
getting to Services, go under Admin Tools under Control Panel, then look for Services. once open scroll down till you find Themes, (should be Started and in Automatic, if not running and in Auto, right click on it and go to props. then everything you need will be there in the prop box.
