Need help with internet connection

First i'm sorry posting this here but i need help fast

I'm using a 56K connection with win2k, i had no problem at all until now. When i connect to the net, after a few moment i get that svchost.exe has made a problem. Then i can't browse the net nor i can use the drag and drop anymore (no matter where i use it). When windows starts i have 4 svchost that are running at the same time!
Can someone help me, because it's ruining my internet browser

svchost is the launcher of windows services, it's not abnormal to see it running 4 to 5 times. I'm not sure about w2k but in XP Pro edition (not home) click start | run | cmd type "tasklist /svc" In the third-column u can see what application/service is runing under each svchost process. It is possible you may have the w32.blaster.worm. Look here for instructions for detection and removal. http://www.joi-odp.org/
