i have been trying to set the multiplier on my asus a7a 266 motherboard running a 1ghz cpu. this motherboard is supposed to have jumper free settings so you can adjust the multipier in the bios.i have been messing with this for days now trying to figure it out. the m.b. manual the cpu frequntcy multiplier is grayed out and is @ 7.5 is skips right over that setting so i cant set it.my cpu has not been factory cut so i know i should be able to set this up. the motherboard bios is rev 1.04 if anyone out there has this board and was able to adjust the multiplier please let me know how you got it going..
thanks again.

bahahhahahahaha !!!
sorry.
ne ways, you have to unlock your CPU before you can change the multiplyer.
what CPU do you have?
i'll send you a guide on how to unlock it, if you need it.
