Alright so i plan on doing some small video reviews, maybe for this site and/or youtube, on computer components such as cases, and heatsinks and video cards. I was just wondering what is an affordable video camera that can get the job done. My budget is around $300, and i prefer it to have a rechargeable battery pack as i hate having to buy and replace batteries. Any ideas, or links?

Thanks

I really like my new video camera, it does a great job at videos, far better than I would expect from a sub $200 digital camera.

Check out Xacti CG6 from Sanyo

Decent reviews

oh PS. whats the limit of recording time on the camera?

I agree with the reviews, amazing video quality from this little unit in any lighting condition.

I purchased a 4GB SD and it has no problem keeping up with video in all settings.

6MB = 15 seconds on highest quality.

Is there a file size limit or can you fill the whole card with 1 recording?

You can fill in 1 recording.

I recorded a bunch of game demo's at a bad angle of a larger screen and they still came out good.

I should post them up, stuff no one has seen before.

So the amount of time you can record depends on the SD memory card. Like its not one of those cameras that allow you to take a video for 5 minutes, then start another recording for only 5 minutes?
