I am currently waiting for my new peltiers to arrive and I was wondering if I am going to have to use a water chiller for these pelts to be effective. The CPU block is a swiftech with a 226W pelt and the GPU block is also a swiftech with a 80W pelt.

What kind of temps do you think I can expext with these blocks? I am running two seperate loops using a blackice extreme rad and a Hydor L30 pumps in each. The tubing is 1/2.

Hmm.... those should both do decent as is. The GPU block will definitely be fine, you may want to consider investing in a beefier radiator for your CPU loop.

Care to take a guess as to what I should expect for temps?

On my water/TEC Cooled rig, with a 2400+ at 2.5Ghz, 1.9v, temps were anywhere from -10 to +10 Deg C depending on Ambient and load, using a 3x120mm Radiator (Thermochill) and 3x YSTech 120mm Fans @ 12v.

Wow those are nice temps. if I hit 10C I will be happy.

You'll need a beefier radiator though if you plan on doing that. A BIX can't handle that kind of heat load and maintain low temperatures.

IF you find you do need a chiller i know of one specific one for sale:thumbsup:

Drop me a PM I am very interested in buying a chiller. So even with two seperate watercooling loops heat may become an issue? Do you think I will be able to achieve 20C load temps?

i just meant your room will be hot, because it has 300 watts of heat to cool, the air blowing though the rad will get very warm, and go right into your room. I will send you a pm also ;)
