Well, technically all the gear is my dad's, but it's what I use at airshows (My dad owns a company that sells various things with pictures of airplanes, mainly of the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds. Our whole family takes photos for the company). I believe it was around 7k, but not quite sure. Could be as low as 5k, but it's been a while since I heard the price.

nikon D80 with 50/1.8, 18-200vr, 35-70/2.8 here
i'm waiting for the 5D successor to come out before I commit to a brand though. I love nikon, the only reason i look at canon is for the lowlight/high iso performance... but nikon has really gotten better of late

I shoot with canon, but I use a nikon digital camera. Its a coolpix l12. Not a bad camera at all, but it takes ages to reload the damn flash...
