Woot!

The more reviews I see, the more I hunger for this mobo.

Looks like a nice board and hopefully just as good or better then the P5Q Deluxe.

I'm eagerly awaiting results for this and the Rampage Extreme. :p:

In europe it is listed around 220 Euro's, the P5Q Premium at 235 euro's and to compare prices P5Q Dlx at 155 euros... What really puts me off here are the lack of backplates... and like P5K Dlx mosfets on the back

Does anybody know if under the same SB cooler there is any "IDT Crosslinx kind of a chip"? :D

Anybody has or can get some more detailed pics of the "SupremeFX X-Fi Audio Card"?

No type of crosslinx chip udner southbridge, I pulled the heatpipe assembly off of mine to find out what waterblocks i need to get.... There are a series of mosfets to the left of southbridge, and northbridge that are gonna need sinked/cooled also.... Ought to be a pretty good board, got mine "open box" for $196 shipped.....

Swiftech MCW30 bolts right on the northbridge without removing the entire heatpipe assembly.

I am assuming you got yours from Newegg, did you get anything besides the board? I.E the backplate.

Thanks,

well guys ive been looking around and it looks like alot of places have less and less 775 mobos everyday, prolly cuz of X58 coming but man im not switching till i see real sturdy results, yes the boards look awesome but that means nothing.

I bought an Asus Maximus II Formula "open box" motherboard from NewEgg, but only received a bare board.

I did manage to track down a back plane I/O card in eBay - from a company in Taiwan. It took about 8-10 days to arrive but it was sent "registered mail" and arrived on Friday. It's brand new and an original Asus one... it was actually cheaper than Asus sell I/O cards for on their eStore!

Now I'm stuck looking for an Asus SupremeFX X-Fi board that someone doesn't want - because I don't want to buy from Creative Labs.
